So today I want to tell you how to check a domain for gluing in Yandex.

It seems quite simple, but many beginners have this question. Many of them fall for offers to buy domains with a TIC at an average or minimum price.

For example, they may offer a domain with a TIC of 750 for just 50 bucks. Sounds tempting, right? And why does everyone have the crazy idea that the person selling a domain with such a high TIC at such a low price is simply an amateur? That means you should be able to make a profit from it, but in the end, the opposite is true.

In this post, I want to draw your attention to this and possibly protect you from such scams, helping you keep your hard-earned money.

Domain gluing You can check it in just one minute, and I recommend doing it manually. There are many services whose main purpose is to check domains for gluing, but it is better to check everything manually and see it with your own eyes than to blame yourself later for an error in some service. Although the ideal option is to check in several places, Yandex itself will give us the most reliable answer. Let's begin...

Checking a domain for gluing

The first mistake beginners make is checking domains for gluing through the Yandex Catalog. For example, at an address like this: https://search.yaca.yandex.ru/yca/cy/ch/picicar.ru/ (You can replace the URL with your own.) If you follow this link, you will see the following:

Interesting, right? How did such a domain end up with such a high TIC? Nothing seems suspicious: it says that the site is not listed in the catalog, and the URL is the same. This is the big mistake beginners make!!!!

The correct way to check a domain for gluing is not in the Yandex Catalog, but in the toolbar..

To do this, use this address "bar-navig.yandex.ru/u?…" (You can replace the site address with your own, but leave Https:\/\/ unchanged.) And what do we see?

You can see that there is one site in the address bar, but in reality it is glued to the insales domain.

So we found out that the domain is glued and is not worth anything to anyone!
