Who is this

Alexander Vasilenko

You may have seen me online under the names Vasilenko and Alex V.

Hello to everyone reading the blog. My name is Alexander Vasilenko, and I am the author of this modest blog.

Online since 2006: I started my journey on the internet by studying info courses, then churned out crappy websites and monetized them with links. Today I am interested in and work with traffic and traffic arbitrage, manage promotion for clients, and have been trying to learn PHP for years.

How it started

The blog went live on April 23, 2006. Posts from the early years have since disappeared — what remains here is still worth reading today.

In 2008, I began learning search promotion. I first heard about it through the MoneyEmpire “business package,” then found Serch and other forums, where I got most of my information.

The blog's main goal is to exchange experience with like-minded people and make new connections.

The earliest remaining is “I don't want to wait for DNS to propagate...,” December 7, 2008 Open post

My own tools

Three pages I wrote myself and kept on the site. Two are still working; one had to be taken down.

AGS status

I determined the AGS filter using Yandex.Catalog data. Removed: the catalog was closed in 2020, so there is nowhere else to get the data.

What I do now is in two catalogs. What I did before is in the blog.
